Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field.

• Excellent written and verbal English; ability to work remotely part-time.
• Experience in banking, trade finance operations, or corporate treasury is a plus.

Role Description

The Trade Finance Specialist is a part-time, remote role responsible for supporting the structuring and execution of trade finance solutions for clients. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and drafting trade finance documentation, with a focus on letters of credit and related instruments, in alignment with international rules and internal policies. The specialist will analyze transaction risks, coordinate with counterparties and financial institutions, and monitor compliance with trade finance regulations and standards. This role also involves maintaining strong business relationships with clients, providing guidance on trade finance products, and preparing concise reports and updates for internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Trade Finance and Finance, with the ability to analyze transactions and identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Hands-on experience with Letters of Credit and related trade instruments, including drafting, reviewing, and coordinating documentation.
• Familiarity with UCP 600 and other relevant international trade rules and practices.
• Business Relationship Management skills to build and maintain professional relationships with clients, banks, and other counterparties.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English, and the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting.
• Prior experience in banking, trade finance operations, or corporate treasury is an advantage.
