Trends Group, Inc. is seeking a TIP/VM Engineer to support Threat Intelligence Platform and Vulnerability Management initiatives. You will gather requirements, assist in client workshops, and help implement TIP/VM improvements while building technical expertise.
You will collaborate with Technical Groups and Solutions Architects, document configurations and playbooks, and contribute to timely delivery of TIP/VM projects in a consulting environment.
The TIP/VM Engineer supports the development and enhancement of Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) and Vulnerability Management (VM) solutions under the guidance of the Optimization and Support Lead. The role involves assisting in client workshops, requirements gathering, and TIP/VM implementation activities while continuously building technical expertise. The engineer also incorporates feedback into improvements, collaborates with the team, and helps ensure the timely delivery of TIP/VM initiatives.

Implement updates, configurations, and enhancements for TIP/VM platforms.
Identify and resolve system availability or performance issues.
Perform routine maintenance, including patches and updates under supervision.
Apply best practices to maintain system stability and reliability.
Document availability-related procedures and maintenance activities.
Maintain and update service catalog entries.
Promote awareness and proper usage among stakeholders.
Adhere to SLA and OLA requirements.
Monitor performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Address gaps and implement corrective actions to meet targets.
Support approved changes and project implementations.
Document configurations such as detection rules, correlation logic, and playbooks.
Participate in CAB-related activities as needed.
Provide 1st-level support by responding to tickets and performing initial troubleshooting.
Process access requests in compliance with security policies.
Investigate and resolve TIP/VM-related incidents.
Assist in testing, validation, and post-incident reviews.
Contribute to incident reporting and resolution.
Support root cause analysis and apply corrective and preventive actions.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts based on incident learnings.
Support asset lifecycle management and optimization.
Assist in improving operational efficiency through automation and process enhancements.
Ensure proper resource utilization and documentation of improvements.
Support the enforcement, monitoring, and continuous improvement of operational processes for TIP/VM and related systems.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in Information Security Engineering, or completion of a relevant cadetship program.
Familiarity with Threat Intelligence Platforms (e.g., Cyble Vision, Recorded Future).
Experience or exposure to Vulnerability Management tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, Tenable, Rapid7).
Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
Knowledge of networking concepts, cybersecurity principles, and threat scenarios.
