Job summary

Acbel PolyTech (Phils.), Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer to join our team in Calamba City, Laguna.

You will develop, validate, and sustain functional test systems for PCB assemblies and switching power supply products, and you will design fixtures and automation to improve reliability. The role emphasizes root cause analysis, troubleshooting of test equipment, and providing engineering support for production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering (ECE license advantageous).
• Experience in electronics or power supply manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic test equipment (ATE) and production test systems.
• Familiar with testing tools and methods.
• Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, 7 QC Tools and root cause analysis methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, validate, and sustain functional test systems for PCB assemblies and switching power supply products.
• Design, build, test equipment and fixtures; develop test error proofing and automation.
• Conduct GRnR studies on test equipment; perform root cause analysis on in-process trends.

About the role

Acbel PolyTech (Phils.), Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in our Calamba City, Laguna office. As a Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability.

What you'll be doing

• Develop, implement, validate, and sustain functional test systems for PCB assemblies, test processes and switching power supply products.

• Designs, builds and qualifies test equipment and fixtures and develops test error proofing and automation.

• Conducts Gauge Repeatability & Reproducibility (GRnR) study on test equipment.

• Conducts root cause analysis and corrective action of in-process trend failures related to test equipment

• Provide engineering support and develops test procedures for production use.

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, fixtures, and test equipment to minimize production downtime.

• Perform root cause analysis on product failures using engineering tools and methodologies such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, Pareto Analysis, and Failure Analysis.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related Engineering course. Licensed Electronics Engineer (ECE) is an advantage.

• Experience in electronics manufacturing or power supply manufacturing is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), electronic test instruments, and production test systems.

• Familiar with different testing tools and methods

• Knowledge of statistical analysis, SPC, FMEA, 7 QC Tools, and root cause analysis methodologies.
