Job summary

Maersk Line Limited is seeking a Tender Manager to drive successful tender submissions from RFQ review through handover to contract management. You will collaborate with Pricing, Product, Sales, and other stakeholders to ensure feasibility, accuracy, and compliance, applying Maersk pricing governance and data quality standards.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, analytical skills, and proficiency with MS Excel and Maersk systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Tender Management or a related commercial support role.
• Experience in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or transportation industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs, identify scope and requirements, and translate into Maersk-approved bid formats.
• Collaborate with Pricing, Product, Sales and other stakeholders to validate feasibility and pricing accuracy.
• Ensure bid requirements are completed according to customer specs and internal standards.
• Apply and validate commercial product logic including Freight, Inland transportation, Dry Port, SOC/NOR, IMO handling, surcharges.
• Deliver complete tender submissions within established turnaround times and coordinate clarifications with Sales.
• Support handover of awarded tenders to Contract Management for implementation.
• Track tender performance metrics and drive continuous improvement across platforms (AFLS, Athena, Negotiation Platform, SFDC).
• Maintain data quality and governance adherence in tender processes.
