Job summary

Lemcon Philippines Incorporated is seeking a skilled field technician with experience in copper and fiber optic cabling to install, terminate, and splice networks at customer sites, and to mount equipment such as routers, switches, and terminal boxes.

You will perform site surveys, use test meters to verify signals, read engineering diagrams, explain operation to clients, and maintain accurate service logs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• Certification in electronics, telecommunications, or computer networking preferred.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Stamina and strength for lifting heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Run, pull, terminate, and splice copper or fiber optic cables; mount equipment, routers, switches, and terminal boxes.
• Use test meters and diagnostic tools to check signal strength, identify transmission faults, and fix or replace faulty wiring.
• Conduct site surveys, drill holes, build support racks, and follow engineering blueprints or technical diagrams.
• Explain system operation to clients, demonstrate equipment use, and maintain professional on-site communication.
• Label cables accurately and record configuration specifications, service logs, and maintenance reports.
