Job summary

Paul Morgann is seeking a Technology, Data & AI Leader to steer the company’s technology, data, AI, automation, and digital transformation programs. The role focuses on translating business needs into scalable, secure, data-driven solutions that boost efficiency and visibility across the supply chain.

You will lead enterprise platforms, governance, cybersecurity, and cloud initiatives while shaping a high‑performing Technology, Data & AI organization and managing key vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree in information systems, data science, analytics or MBA preferred.
• 10–12+ years of IT leadership and digital transformation experience.
• Proven enterprise architecture, platform development and systems integration.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and vendor management skills.
• Logistics, supply chain, e‑commerce, fintech or tech-enabled operations background advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise Technology, Data & AI roadmap.
• Lead enterprise systems, digital platforms, integration, automation, analytics, and AI.
• Translate requirements into scalable technology and data solutions.
• Establish architecture, governance, cybersecurity, and cloud standards.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery from discovery through adoption and improvement.
• Build analytics capabilities for visibility, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Identify practical AI/automation applications across supply chain ops.
• Ensure visibility and integration across customers, vendors, and systems.
• Manage technology investments, vendors, and partnerships; lead a high-performing team.

Role Overview

Our client is a leading supply chain and logistics organization undergoing significant digital transformation. The Technology, Data & AI Leader will lead the organization’s technology, data, AI, automation, digital transformation, and business solutions agenda.

The role will translate business and customer requirements into scalable, secure, integrated, and data-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency, supply chain visibility, decision-making, customer experience, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise Technology, Data, AI, and Digital Transformation roadmap.
• Lead enterprise systems, digital platforms, integration, automation, analytics, and AI initiatives.
• Translate business and customer requirements into scalable technology and data solutions.
• Establish standards for enterprise architecture, data governance, cybersecurity, systems integration, and cloud technologies.
• Drive end-to-end solution delivery from discovery and design through implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement.
• Build data and analytics capabilities supporting visibility, forecasting, optimization, and decision-making.
• Identify and implement practical applications of AI and automation across supply chain operations.
• Improve end-to-end supply chain visibility and integration across customers, vendors, carriers, facilities, and systems.
• Partner with Commercial, Operations, Strategy, and customers to develop technology-enabled business solutions.
• Oversee system availability, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, business continuity, and technology service performance.
• Manage technology investments, vendors, strategic partners, and resources.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Technology, Data & AI organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, or MBA is preferred.
• 10-12+ years of experience in IT management, digital transformation, enterprise technology, data, AI, or technology leadership.
• Proven experience in enterprise architecture, platform development, systems integration, automation, data analytics, or AI.
• Strong experience managing cross-functional teams, technology vendors, strategic partners, and significant technology budgets.
• Background in logistics, supply chain, e-commerce, fintech, or technology-enabled operations is highly advantageous.
