Job Description

Qualifications

• Height : 165cm
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in manufacturing or chemistry is a plus.
• Previous experience in industrial electroplating, metal finishing, or as a plating assistant.
• Knowledge of chemical balances, plating bath maintenance,
• Understanding of hazardous materials handling, safety protocols, and often RoHS/REACH requirements.
• Proficiency in visual inspection and measuring instruments to detect plating defects.
• Manual dexterity, strong attention to detail, and ability to differentiate color shades.
• Ability to work with hazardous materials (e.g., acetone, acids) using protective equipment.
• Ensuring exact coating thickness and uniform appearance.
• Strong understanding of chemistry principles, electricity (Amps/Milliamps), and plating formulas.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, degreasing, and etching metal or plastic parts to ensure proper coating adhesion.
• Measuring, mixing, and adjusting chemical baths (plating solutions) according to formulas to maintain optimal conditions.
• Setting up, running, and monitoring plating machinery, including rectifiers, pumps, filtration systems, and hoists.
• Testing coating thickness and quality using instruments like ICP or fluorescent testers, inspecting finished parts for defects.
• Performing preventive maintenance on equipment and fixing technical issues to ensure production efficiency.
• Keeping accurate records of processes and inventory, while strictly adhering to safety protocols (handling hazardous chemicals) and environmental regulations.
