Technical Web Lead
Work Set-up and Location: Hybrid (3x a week onsite; 2x wfh) SM Aura, BGC, Taguig
Schedule: EU Shift (3pm to 12am)

Job Description:

• The Technical Web Lead will drive the strategic planning and execution of all web-related initiatives across the enterprise, with a primary focus on the Drupal platform managed by Material+. This role ensures the technical integrity, scalability, and performance of web solutions while aligning with business goals and security standards.

Major Accountability:

• Lead the technical planning and decision-making process for Drupal-based web projects, including environment setup, deployment strategy, integration architecture, and data modeling.

• Translate functional requirements into robust technical designs in collaboration with stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams.

• Define and enforce Drupal best practices, architecture patterns, and technology stack choices.

• Oversee the development and integration of custom modules, themes, and third-party systems.

• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project resilience.

• Review and approve technical deliverables, ensuring quality and consistency across codebases and deployment pipelines.

• Support DevOps and infrastructure teams in CI/CD pipeline design, hosting architecture, and performance monitoring.

• Mentor technical leads and developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence in Drupal technologies.

BUSINESS EXPERTISE:

• Proven experience in leading and managing large-scale projects from initiation to closure.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective project reporting and documentation.

• Deep understanding of enterprise-grade web architecture and content management systems, particularly Drupal.

• Experience working within global organizations and managing offshore development teams.

• Familiarity with Material+ delivery models and support structures, including SLA-based engagements and agile methodologies.

• Proven ability to align technical execution with business priorities and stakeholder expectations.
