CITADEL Pacific Ltd. is seeking a Senior Technical Support Specialist to monitor, maintain, and support our network infrastructure across multiple sites in the Philippines.

The role collaborates with Network Administration, Server and Security teams to identify, mitigate, and resolve incidents while advancing infrastructure and security initiatives. You will provide L1–3 support, troubleshoot connectivity and performance, implement and maintain network devices, and manage incidents with SLA

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT or CS required.
• 5–8 years in network support for multi-site environments.
• Experience with enterprise networks and security systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1–3 network support and incident escalation.
• Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure across sites.
• Monitor performance, ensure availability, and enforce security standards.

Job description

The Senior Technical Support Specialist is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting the organization'snetwork infrastructure to ensure continuous, reliable, and secure business operations across all sites and locations.The role works closely with the Network Administration, Server and Security Team in identifying, mitigating, and resolving network-related incidents, as well as supporting ongoing infrastructure and security initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

• 1. Network Operation and Support:
  1. Provide Level 1–3 support for network-related incidents, requests and escalation.
  2. Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and access issues.
  3. Handles complex network concern and issues.
  4. Monitor network performance and availability across all sites.
  5. Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance.
• 2. Network Implementation and Maintenance:
  1. Manages project, merger and acquisition requirements.
  2. Handle installation, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure for multiple sites:Routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices
  3. Support network deployment for new sites and expansions
  4. Ensure proper network configuration and adherence to standards
• 3. Network and Security Support:
  1. Assist in managing network security tools and solutions, including:Firewalls (Fortinet, Sophos, etc.)Endpoint and web security platforms
  2. Support enforcement of IT security standards and policies
  3. Ensure network availability and secure access to systems and applications
• 4. Incident and Ticket Management:
  1. Manage incidents, requests, and service tickets based on priority and SLA
  2. Provide timely updates and resolutions to stakeholders
  3. Maintain accurate records of issues, actions, and resolutions
• 5. Documentation and Reporting:
  1. Maintain updated documentation of:Network diagrams,Configurations,Standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  2. Assist in preparing reports related to network performance and incidents
• 6. Continuous Improvement:
  1. Assist in network design discussions and planning activities
  2. Recommend improvements for performance, scalability, and security
  3. Stay updated with emerging networking technologies and best practices

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS:

• College Graduate of Bachelor of Information Technology or Bachelor of Computer Science
• At least 5–8 years of relevant experience in network support
• Experience supporting:

1. Enterprise networks
2. Multi-site environments
3. Firewall and security systems

Strong knowledge of:

1. Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLAN,routing, switching, wireless)

Familiarity with:

1. Firewall technologies (Fortinet, Sophos, Cisco)
2. Network monitoring tools (e.g., Site24x7)
3. Endpoint and web security tools

Basic understanding of:

• Cloud networking concepts (Azure / hybrid environment preferred)

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

CCNA or equivalent

ITIL Foundation (preferred)

CompTIA Network+ / Security+ (optional)

Microsoft certifications (optional)
