Job summary

Emapta Philippines is seeking a Technical SEO Specialist to optimize the platform's crawlability, indexing, and site performance for a global AI-powered content platform. You will collaborate with international teams from the Philippines and contribute to scalable SEO strategies.

The role is a fixed-term contract with a hybrid work setup at SM Mega Tower, Ortigas, offering competitive salary, night differential, and access to Emapta Academy for upskilling.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of Technical SEO experience or equivalent hands-on work.
• Strong knowledge of indexing, canonicalization, hreflang, redirects, and crawlability.
• Hands-on experience with internal linking, crawl depth, and basic HTML/CSS.
• Familiarity with Google Search Console and SEO crawling tools like Screaming Frog/Ahrefs/Semrush/Sitebulb.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate with developers.

Responsibilities

• Manage indexing directives, canonical tags, hreflang, and redirects.
• Identify and resolve crawlability, indexing, redirect chain, and broken URL issues.
• Improve internal links, site architecture, and crawl depth.
• Optimize image alt text and review HTML/CSS for SEO impact.
• Inspect rendered page elements, including titles, meta tags, canonicals, hreflang, and schema.
• Conduct technical SEO audits and validate website changes.
• Collaborate with developers to implement and troubleshoot technical SEO fixes.

The Qualifications We Seek

• 3 to 5 years of Technical SEO experience or equivalent hands‑on experience
• Strong knowledge of indexing, canonicalization, hreflang, 301/302 redirects, and crawlability
• Hands‑on experience with internal linking, crawl depth, and basic HTML/CSS
• Hands‑on experience with FM-to-.com link and domain migration
• Familiarity with Google Search Console and SEO crawling tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, or Sitebulb
• Strong attention to detail and technical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers
