Job summary

Ashoori Law is seeking a detail-oriented Technical SEO Specialist to manage the technical health of its websites and digital properties. The role emphasizes audits, schema markup, site performance, and collaboration with developers, content, and marketing teams.

You will investigate issues, implement fixes, and verify that changes improve organics, including migrations, while working remotely during PST hours.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in Technical SEO.

Position Summary

Ashoori Law is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and tech-savvy Technical SEO Specialist to manage and optimize the technical SEO health of our websites, landing pages, and other digital properties.

This role will focus heavily on technical SEO, website performance, on-page optimization, indexing, crawling, site architecture, schema markup, and SEO monitoring. You will work closely with our web developers, content team, and marketing team to ensure our websites are technically sound, search-engine friendly, fast, and optimized for organic visibility.

We are looking for someone who can go beyond identifying SEO issues—you should be comfortable investigating problems, recommending solutions, coordinating implementation, and verifying that fixes are working correctly.

Independent Contractor Notice

This is a full-time independent contractor position, not an employee position.

The selected candidate will operate as an independent contractor and will be responsible for managing their own taxes, compliance obligations, and business registrations as required by their jurisdiction. No employer-employee relationship is intended or created by this engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical SEO
  • Conduct regular technical SEO audits and identify issues affecting crawling, indexing, rankings, and organic visibility
  • Monitor and troubleshoot indexing and crawl issues through Google Search Console
  • Review and optimize XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, redirects, and URL structures
  • Identify and resolve broken links, redirect chains, duplicate content, orphan pages, and other technical SEO issues
  • Implement and validate schema markup and structured data
  • Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals and page speed
  • Ensure website migrations, redesigns, and URL changes follow SEO best practices and preserve organic visibility
  • Work with developers to implement and verify technical SEO recommendations
  • Monitor website health and proactively identify technical issues that could impact search performance
• On-Page SEO & Site Structure
  • Optimize website and blog pages for metadata, headings, internal linking, keyword targeting, and search intent
  • Improve internal linking and overall website architecture
  • Conduct keyword research to support content and landing page strategies
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing pages based on search performance
  • Ensure new website content follows SEO best practices before publication
  • Help maintain consistent SEO standards across multiple web properties
• Website & Landing Page Management
  • Coordinate with web developers to ensure landing pages, content pages, and brand websites are built and functioning correctly
  • Review new pages for SEO, responsiveness, speed, tracking, and technical accuracy
  • Monitor websites for performance and user experience issues
  • Assist with publishing and updating website content when needed
  • Perform quality assurance after website updates and technical changes
• SEO Monitoring & Reporting
  • Monitor organic search performance using Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms
  • Track rankings, organic traffic, impressions, clicks, indexing, and other key SEO metrics
  • Investigate significant changes in organic performance and identify potential causes
  • Monitor website errors and SEO health on an ongoing basis
  • Provide clear reports on technical issues, completed improvements, and SEO opportunities

Requirements

Proven professional experience in Technical SEO
