The Application Engineering Analyst provides technical sales support for the Switchgear and Busbar business by reviewing, validating, and approving Engineer-to-Order (ETO) Workbench and K2 pricing requests. This role manages quotation activities, pricing approvals, proposal documentation, and workflow coordination while collaborating closely with the North America Global Strategic Accounts (GSA) team, Inside Sales Representatives, Engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders. The position ensures accurate and timely execution, compliance with pricing policies, and effective support of business objectives while delivering a high level of customer service and operational excellence.
Review, validate, and approve Engineer-to-Order Workbench requests and K2 pricing transactions.
Process change requests and verify pricing details submitted through Configure, Price, Quote notes and proposal documentation.
Ensure pricing accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company policies and approval processes.
Support the North America sales organization in achieving customer commitments and business objectives.
Coordinate with Global Strategic Accounts, Inside Sales, Engineering, and other stakeholders to gather technical and commercial requirements.
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs).
Assist with project tracking and status reporting.
Maintain accurate documentation of requests, approvals, and project records.
Provide timely status updates and communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding approvals and pricing activities.
Ensure timely completion of assigned workload while maintaining service-level expectations.
Prepare and maintain transaction records, trackers, reports, and dashboards.
Participate in team meetings, information cascades, and knowledge-sharing activities.
Assist with special projects, business reviews, and process improvement initiatives.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs.
Support training and knowledge transfer activities for team members.
Serve as backup support for related functions to ensure business continuity.
Contribute to cross-functional projects and organizational initiatives as required.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of one year of experience in electrical systems, power distribution, switchgear, busbar, busway, data center operations, manufacturing, facilities, construction, design, or field service.
Minimum of one year of experience in customer service, technical sales support, or a related commercial support role.
Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft 365 applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Experience working with pricing, quotation, or proposal management systems.
Familiarity with Engineer-to-Order processes and Configure, Price, Quote platforms.
Exposure to North American sales operations or Global Strategic Accounts environments.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong interpersonal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
