Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation seeks a Training Specialist to educate field service associates, customers, and partners on Vertiv's Thermal management solutions. You will prepare, conduct, and evaluate technical training programs, write training literature, and design exercises to enhance lectures.

You will cover safety, installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of software, machinery, and equipment. You will deliver instructor-led and virtual training, coordinate with Global Academy, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or Energy Engineering or equivalent training/field experience.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in mechanical installation, commissioning, or field service within data center, industrial, or commercial environments.
• Proficiency and knowledge of thermal management principles and electrical/electronic controls.
• Excellent written & verbal communication with presentation and facilitation skills in classroom and lab environments.
• Knowledge of adult learning theory and principles.
• Strong organizational & time management skills, able to multitask and work independently.
• Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and virtual training platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
• Positive attitude, adaptability, leadership and comfort operating in fast-changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-profile, high-impact service training programs in instructor-led and virtual formats.
• Collaborate with Global Academy on training structure, objectives and contents.
• Develop and deliver service training for Asia based on regional needs.
• Create and update training materials covering the power product portfolio and assessments.
• Communicate product updates from Global Academy to Asia Service Organization.
• Deliver blended learning sessions and, if needed, other centres or sites.
• Attend Train the Trainers sessions and accreditation processes.
• Maintain Training Area and demo units for welcoming students and effective training experiences.
• Support local trainers in ANZ for their training areas.

Job Summary

Perform training of field service associates, customers, and service partners on all Vertiv's Thermal management solutions. Responsible for preparing, conducting, and evaluating technical training programs. Write literature and materials to be used in training programs and design exercises to enhance lectures. Conduct classes regarding safety, installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of software, machinery, and equipment.

Key Duties &Responsibilities

• Deliver high-profile, high-impact service training programs delivered in multiple modes – instructor-led and virtual workshops, train-the-trainer, on-the-job, self-paced online courses and videos, and technical solution lab exercises in line with the Global Academy instructions and guidelines.
• Work with Academy Team from Global Training on training structure, learning objectives and training contents.
• Develop and deliver specific service training program for Asia based on the training regional needs.
• Define, prepare and update the training material covering the power product portfolio: online theoretical material and tests, multimedia tools, procedures, residential classroom material and practical exercises, final tests; trainer's additional material and teaching notes; support the creation of TKO documentation
• Ensure the communication about product updates from Global Academy Team to the Asia Service Organization:
• Successfully and effectively deliver training sessions in blended learning: remote self-learning, residential classroom, final exams and diploma ceremony; if needed, deliver courses in other training centres or sites.
• Successfully attend Train the Trainers sessions and the Trainer’s Accreditation process.
• Maintain Training Area and the demo units at their best for welcoming students and providing effective and complete training experiences.
• Support local trainers in ANZ for their relevant Training Areas set up.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor degreein Mechanical Engineering, or Energy Engineering orequivalent training/field experience.
2. 5+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical installation, commissioning, or field service within data center, industrial, or commercial environments.
3. Proficiency and knowledge of thermal management principles and required knowledge of electrical and electronic controls.
4. Excellent written & verbal communication skills with an emphasis on presentation and facilitation skills for both the classroom and lab environments.
5. Knowledge of, and experience with, adult learning theory and principlesorequivalent.
6. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and work independently.
7. Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and virtual training platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
8. Positive attitude, adaptability, strong leadership and comfort operating in a fast-changing, product-launch-driven environment.
