Job summary

CWC INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION is seeking a detail-oriented CAD/Estimation professional to produce accurate 2D/3D drawings, renderings, and precise product quotations based on project specs and supplier pricing. This role supports Sales and Marketing with technical drawings and cost estimates.

You will gather information from project managers and sites, translate data into formal quotations, and maintain cost keys and price books.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office.
• Strong mathematical skills for cost estimation and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Understand the project and its requirements.
• Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and requirements; setting priorities.
• Gathering first hand information from project managers, jobsite, warehouses or other venues.
• Create a quotation following all the information, layout, technical drawings and other relevant reference and translate into CWC standard quotation format. Checks the quantities on the lay-out and bid tender are the same.
• Maintains cost keys and price books by updating information.
• Determining key variables for cost and other estimates.
• Create 2D, 3D technical drawings using CAD. Create colour rendering if there is a requirement.
• Obtain bids from vendors and sub-contractors by specifying materials and item codes.
• Resolve cost discrepancies by collection and analyzing information.
• Create and submit estimate reports or bids to appropriate persons (Project Managers, Clients, and Bidding Competition etc.).
• Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• To do other jobs that may be assigned by his superior.
