EDGE Tutor International is seeking a Teacher Care Specialist to support our growing teacher community from post-interview endorsement through training, activation, and retention. This consultancy role emphasizes customer service, coordination, and proactive follow-ups with teachers, conducted from Metro Manila.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned teachers throughout the Teacher Care journey from endorsement through training and activation.
• Coordinate training schedules, account orientations, demos, requirements and activities.

• Monitor attendance, progress and readiness for activation.
• Reach out to teachers who miss activities or become inactive.
• Assist in recovering teachers at risk of dropping out and identify next steps.
• Provide clear information on account requirements, schedules, compensation and commitments.
• Coordinate with Recruitment, Training, Account Management and other teams to address concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and status.
• Ensure cases and activities are handled within timelines.
• Provide feedback on recurring concerns and suggest process improvements.
• Support other Teacher Care initiatives as needed.

EDGE Tutor International is looking for a Teacher Care Specialist to support our growing teacher community and help ensure a smooth and consistent teacher journey from post-interview endorsement through training, activation, and retention.
This consultancy role is best suited for someone with strong customer service and communication experience who enjoys working with people, coordinating multiple activities, and taking ownership of follow-ups and teacher concerns.

Scope of Consultancy

The Teacher Care Consultant will be responsible for:

• Supporting assigned teachers throughout the Teacher Care journey, from post-interview endorsement through training and activation.
• Coordinating with teachers regarding training schedules, account orientations, demos, requirements, and other activities.
• Conducting timely follow-ups through calls, email, SMS, and messaging platforms.
• Monitoring teacher attendance, requirements, progress, and readiness for activation.
• Proactively reaching out to teachers who miss scheduled activities or become inactive in the process.
• Assisting in recovering teachers who are at risk of dropping out and helping identify appropriate next steps.
• Providing clear and accurate information regarding account requirements, schedules, compensation, commitments, and other relevant details.
• Supporting teachers who may qualify for additional or secondary account opportunities.
• Coordinating with Recruitment, Training, Account Management, and other relevant teams to address teacher concerns and ensure proper handovers.
• Maintaining accurate records of teacher interactions, follow-ups, requirements, and status.
• Ensuring assigned teacher cases and coordination activities are handled within agreed timelines.
• Providing feedback on recurring teacher concerns and recommending improvements to the Teacher Care process.
• Supporting other Teacher Care initiatives and coordination requirements as needed.

Qualifications

For this consultancy opening, we are specifically looking for:

• Metro Manila-based
• Strong customer service experience
• Teaching experience, either in ESL or face-to-face teaching
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable communicating through calls, chat, email, and other communication platforms
• Strong coordination, organization, and follow-up skills
• Able to manage multiple teachers, schedules, and priorities
• Comfortable working with targets, timelines, and service-level expectations
• Proactive and able to take ownership of assigned responsibilities
• Able to work independently while coordinating closely with a team
• Pleasing personality is an advantage
• Background in recruitment, education, ESL, teacher support, customer success, or account management is an advantage
