Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Business Management or related field
• 2+ years of experience in Taxation or related field
• Knowledge of International Indirect Taxation (Sales + VAT) is an advantage
• Experience maintaining emerging tax technologies and troubleshooting tax technology problems

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, reviews, interprets and validates tax-related financial data for internal and external reporting
• Lead/assist with tax process improvements projects including software implementation or automation
• Identify process improvements and coordinate with accounts receivable/payable teams
• Report progress of projects and concerns to stakeholders
• Assist in evaluating and maintaining emerging tax technologies
• Develop and deliver end-user training and maintain training documentation
• Maintain tax automation and reporting tools
• Maintain productivity and meet service level agreements in a complex environment
• Interact with stakeholders, customers, suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues and provide updates
• Interact with taxing authorities to gather information for tax compliance
• Assist with other projects or duties including continuous improvement efforts
