Ubiquity is seeking a Tax Senior Staff Accountant to join our Global Resource Team, working with U.S. tax professionals to prepare individual and business returns across diverse industries. You will deliver accurate work, review client data for completeness, and support the engagement team on complex matters.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Two to three years of relevant tax preparation experience.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with tax preparation software including CCH ProSystem fx, Axcess Tax, Axcess Document, Axcess Workstream, Thomson Reuters Fixed Assets CS, and Checkpoint.
• Must be willing to work 100% onsite and Night shift schedule.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and other entities.
• Organize and review client financial information, identifying missing documents, inconsistencies, and questions for the U.S. engagement team.
• Prepare clear, complete workpapers that support tax return calculations and allow for an efficient review.
• Use tax preparation, document management, and workflow software to complete assignments and maintain organized engagement files.
• Keep engagement teams informed of assignment status, outstanding items, and potential delays.
• Address review comments and incorporate feedback into future assignments.
• Assist senior team members with more complex tax matters, including research and specialized projects.
• Participate in training, share knowledge with colleagues, and continue building technical and supervisory skills.
• Follow firm procedures for protecting confidential client information and meeting quality standards.

About the role

As a Tax Senior Staff Accountant on our Global Resource Team, you will work closely with U.S. tax professionals to prepare individual and business tax returns for clients across a variety of industries. You will help deliver accurate, timely work while gaining experience with more complex tax matters and developing the skills needed to take on greater responsibility.

What You’ll Do

Work Schedule and Location

This is an in-office position requiring attendance every scheduled workday. Global Resource Team members work U.S. hours to collaborate directly with our U.S. teams, receive timely guidance, and keep assignments moving. Regular attendance and availability during scheduled hours are essential to the role.

Ideal candidates have

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Two to three years of relevant tax preparation experience.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to raise questions and provide timely updates.
• Familiarity with tax preparation and related software, including CCH ProSystem fx, Axcess Tax, Axcess Document, Axcess Workstream, Thomson Reuters Fixed Assets CS, and Checkpoint.
• Must be willing to work 100% onsite and Night shift schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a CPA firm or similar professional services environment.
• Experience supporting U.S. tax engagements.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification, or progress toward obtaining a relevant professional credential.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and applicable continuing education requirements.
