GOLDEN TOPPER INVESTMENTS, INC. - Manila seeks a detail-oriented Tax Specialist to ensure timely and accurate tax compliance within the Finance team. You will prepare and file statutory returns, support tax planning, and coordinate with accounting for precise reporting.

The role requires 1–2 years in tax, strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, and proficiency in MS Excel. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for success in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in tax compliance, accounting, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in preparing and filing statutory tax returns.
• Experience handling tax audits and coordinating with tax authorities is an advantage.
• Experience in an accounting firm or an in-house tax department is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Philippine tax laws and regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eager to continuously learn and develop expertise in taxation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file statutory tax returns, including Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Final Withholding Tax, Expanded Withholding Tax, BIR Form 1606, Documentary Stamp Tax (DST), and other tax-related filings.
• Ensure timely payment of taxes and full compliance with applicable tax laws and reporting requirements.
• Assist in tax planning initiatives to improve tax efficiency and minimize tax risks.
• Reconcile tax accounts and coordinate with the Accounting and Finance teams to ensure accurate tax reporting.
• Support tax audits, assessments, and correspondence with government agencies.
• Maintain organized tax records, schedules, and supporting documentation.
