Ensures that all areas pertaining to acquisition of new talents for the organization are covered. Achieves staffing objectives of the organization by establishing a wide range of networks of career professionals.
Recruitment, Selection and Placement
- Custodian to the Recruitment Policy established by the Human Resource Department, reviews periodically the existing policy for its suitability and appropriateness for use in relation to the effected changes of the organization.
- Recommends any revision to the HR Manager in relation to any change in the policy
- Ensures the proper implementation of the recruitment policy and its procedures to guarantee the objective screening and hiring of qualified candidates.
- Handles the recruitment, selection and placement activities of OJT, A1-A3, B1-B3, C1-C3, D1-D3
- Builds a wide range of applicants’ sources by researching, contacting community’s/government services, employment agencies, media and internet job sites providing information to the organization in maximizing pool of talents while minimizing cost.
- Determines the applicant’s suitability to the job requirement by assessing its experience, area of competence and qualification by thoroughly reviewing its CV and by conducting a phone or personal interview.
- Ensure that feedback and updates are always given to the applicants and requestors/customers and good customer service
- Manages the recruitment cycle procedure and ensures that the recruitment cycle time standard established is achieved.
- Monitors the employment status of the acquired personnel by keeping track of its hiring date, probationary period, performance evaluation and regularization. Initiating needed documentary requirements in relation to employee movement and status.
- Provide recruitment and manpower movement issue resolution and support
- Assist HR Manager in handling recruitment, selection and placement for Sr. Supervisors and Managers when needed
Employment Testing
- Handles the scheduling of non-managerial applicants and coordinates with TIIC Online Psychological Exam Provider for the exam schedule of applicants.
- Maintain the utmost confidentiality of the exams and its results. Consistently adhere to the highest ethical standards in psychometrics
Employment Interviews
- Handles the scheduling of non-managerial applicants for interview with HR Manager/HROD Director/Department Managers/SBU Heads
- Conducts behavior-based interviews to applicants for officer/supervisory up to Sr. officer supervisory level positions
Physical Exam (PE) and Background Investigation (BI)
- Endorse qualified external applicants for the pre-employment physical exam at the medical clinic and endorse complete and accurate employment applications for BI to the HR Manager
- Monitors PE and BI results and ensure that all positions are cleared prior to job offer and hiring.
- Update timely Recruitment Lead Time Tracking Report
- Escalate recruitment issues and concerns to HR Manager as soon as possible for fast resolution of issues outside recruiters’ control
Job Offer
- Endorse all complete and accurate employment documents to HR Manager for final approval and checking that the recruitment process has been followed before endorsement for Salary Analysis to Compensation and Benefits section
- Monitors the endorsed documents and ensure that applicant endorsed for Job Offer is scheduled
- Coordinates with new hire the joining date after job offer and immediately provide feedback to hiring manager as soon as possible
