Job summary

GECO Asia is seeking a skilled Tableau Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and BI solutions. The ideal candidate will transform complex business requirements into actionable insights, leveraging strong data visualization and SQL skills.

The role requires 3+ years of Tableau experience, proficiency with Tableau Desktop and Server/Cloud, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable BI platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience developing Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience writing complex queries.
• Experience with data modeling and ETL concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to develop reporting solutions.
• Connect Tableau to multiple data sources, including relational databases, cloud platforms, and data warehouses.
• Create efficient data models and optimize dashboard performance.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports and dashboards.
• Develop calculated fields, parameters, sets, filters, and Level of Detail (LOD) expressions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot dashboard performance and resolve reporting issues.
• Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver BI solutions.
• Document dashboard designs, data sources, and development processes.
• Support enhancements, maintenance, and user adoption of Tableau reporting solutions.

• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is an advantage.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
