We are looking for a candidate to execute and document user acceptance testing (UAT) of automated accounting processes and system-generated entries and reports for core and auxiliary systems, with involvement in design and post-implementation reviews. The role supports the Credit Card Accounting Department (CCAD) and requires onsite work in Makati.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in BS Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, Financial Management and Accounting
• Good communication skills and computer literacy with ability to work with minimal supervision
• Willing to work onsite in Makati, Philippines

Responsibilities

• Attend training and UAT kickoff meetings to gather information and prepare for the UAT project
• Review test plans and provide feedback to align CCAD test functions with business unit needs
• Prepare test conditions and scripts to ensure coverage of required scenarios per plan and requirements
• Perform testing of the UAT project and verify results; identify and report defects
• Monitor and follow up on UAT issues within set time frames with the Systems Department
• Prepare/revise templates and working papers for test data analysis and reviews
• Prepare training materials to guide users on system functions and reports
• Perform post-implementation reviews of systems and enhancements
• Provide initial analysis of production issues reported by users
• Maintain filing and inventory of documents
• Assist with other related functions as assigned

Job Summary

Primarily responsible for the execution and documentation of user acceptance testing (UAT) of automated accounting processes and system-generated accounting entries and reports of core and auxiliary systems. Assist the Systems Support Officer/Section Head in the design and evaluation, user training and post-production implementation review of new/enhanced systems and reports for credit card accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• - Attend systems training, UAT kick-off meeting initiated by CBG-Systems Department or business owner to gather information and prepare for the UAT project
• - Review the test plan of the UAT project and provide necessary feedback to System Support Officer/Section Head and CBG-Systems Department to align Credit Card Accounting Department (CCAD) test functions with business unit test functions
• - Prepare test condition and test script to ensure that required test scenarios were covered based on the test plan and the department’s business requirements, as applicable
• - Perform testing of the assigned UAT project based on the approved test script to ensure that expected test results were achieved based on the requirements/specifications and identified defects are detected and fixed
• - Monitor and follow-up, within the set time frame, the UAT issues referred to CBG-Systems Department
• - Handle fulfilment of the following to ensure timely and appropriate feedback or action is made
• - Prepare/revise template and working paper to facilitate analysis and review of test data
• - Prepare and collate training and information materials to guide, support and assist users in utilizing functions and reports available in the system
• - Perform post-implementation review of implemented system, report or enhancement
• - Provide initial analysis of system issues in production as reported by users
• - Maintain a systematic filing and inventory
• - Perform other related functions that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

• - Graduate of BS Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, Financial Management and Accounting; experience not required
• - Must possess good communications skills, computer literate and can work with minimum supervision
• - Willing to work onsite in Makati
