Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
• Manage LAN/WAN networks, structured cabling, and campus networking setups.
• Perform configuration of VLANs, VPN, Routing, and Switching protocols.
• Deploy and support Wi‑Fi networks, controllers, and access points.
• Monitor network performance, uptime, and security using network monitoring tools.
• Provide on‑site and remote technical support to clients for network issues.
• Assist in implementation of data center solutions including servers, storage, and virtualization (as required).
• Coordinate with OEMs (Cisco, Ruckus, Fortinet, etc.) and internal teams for issue escalation.
• Maintain network documentation, configurations, and project reports.
• Support firewall configuration, security policies, and perimeter protection.
• Participate in installation, upgrades, maintenance activities, and network expansion projects.
• Ensure timely resolution of incidents and deliver high‑quality customer service.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate / Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
• 15 years of hands‑on experience in Networking / System Support.
• Strong knowledge of Routing, Switching, VLANs, VPN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS.
• Experience working with Cisco / Ruckus / Fortinet / HP / Aruba network devices (preferred).
• Certifications such as CCNA / CCNP / Ruckus / Fortinet NSE are an added advantage.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to handle field implementation, on‑site support, and client coordination.
• Basic understanding of servers, virtualization, and data center environments (plus point).
• Strong communication skills and customer‑oriented attitude.
• Willingness to travel for project execution and support activities.
• Ability to work independently as well as in team environments.
