Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Nursing, Allied Medical Course or Health Information Management.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in surgical or outpatient coding.
• Active coding certification (CIC, CCS, CPC) required.
• Proficient in coding software and electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Review patient medical records and encode them using appropriate coding systems.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of surgical documentation.
• Process and submit claims for insurance reimbursement.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in medical records.
