Job summary

Calamba Medical Center is seeking a compassionate Supportive and Pain Nurse for Calamba Cancer Center. The nurse will focus on pain management, symptom control, and improving quality of life for cancer patients, working closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include BS in Nursing, PRC license, and at least 1 year hospital or clinical experience. BLS required; ACLS preferred. Willing to relocate to Calamba, Laguna.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing with PRC license.
• Registered Nurse with at least 1 year hospital or clinical experience.
• Oncology, palliative care, pain management, or supportive care nursing is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in medication administration and symptom management.
• Strong communication, empathy, and patient care skills.
• Willing to relocate or work in Calamba, Laguna.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and manage patients’ pain levels and related symptoms.
• Administer prescribed medications and supportive treatments safely and accurately.
• Educate patients and families on pain management plans and home care instructions.
• Monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
• Collaborate with oncologists, palliative care physicians, pharmacists, and other staff.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.

Supportive and Pain Nurse (Calamba Cancer Center)

The Supportive and Pain Nurse is responsible for providing compassionate, patient-centered nursing care focused on pain management, symptom control, supportive care, and improving the quality of life of cancer patients. The role works closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective management of physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of patients undergoing cancer treatment.

Job Responsibilities
