Job summary

Moog is seeking a Sub Assembly Operator I to perform sub-assembly work on AFSAs, armatures and nozzle tip assemblies using induction brazing, grinding, pressing and other processes. You will interpret TD/Eng drawings and follow CDP workmanship standards in a fast-paced cell environment.

Education options include 3rd year engineering with 6 months sub-assembly experience, a machine shop tech diploma with similar experience, or an engineering degree in ECE/Electronics, IE, Electrical or

Qualifications

• Completed 3rd year engineering with 6 months sub-assembly experience.
• Technology graduate in machine shop with 6 months sub-assembly experience.
• Engineering graduate in ECE / Electronics, IE, Electrical or Mechatronics.

Responsibilities

• Perform sub-assembly operations on AFSAs, armature and nozzle tip assemblies using various processes.
• Interpret and follow work instructions, drawings and workmanship standards.
• Perform minor manual deburring and quality checks as required.
• Identify line problems and propose solutions in a cell team environment.

Sub Assembly Operator I

Reporting To:

Cell Leader II, Fab

Work Schedule:

Onsite – Baguio City, PH

As Sub-Assembly Operator I, roles and responsibilities include:

• Perform various sub-assembly operation on AFSAs, armature and nozzle tip assemblies using a variety of processes (induction brazing, AFSA flat grinding, pressing, pressure check, sand blasting, and related deburr operations).
• Interpret and perform TMAI and CDI, EP, EI, CDP, workmanship standards and other work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Perform minor manual deburring process. (TMAI)
• Initiate identification of line problems and formulate solutions in a cell team environment

Education and Experience:

• Completed 3rd year engineering plus six (6) months sub-assembly experience; or
• Technology graduate major in machine shop (3 yrs.) plus six (6) months sub-assembly experience; or
• Engineering graduate (ECE / Electronics, IE, Electrical, Mechatronics)
