Qualifications

• Master's degree in Guidance Counseling is required.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Guidance Counselor is preferred.
• License for Guidance Counselor is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a comprehensive school counselling program for students.
• Assists students individually or in groups with developing academic, career and personal/social skills, goals and plans.
• Collaborates with parents/guardians and educators to assist students with educational and career planning.
• Maintains students’ records and ensures confidentiality of the same.
• Provides educational and occupational information through seminars, workshops, and related activities.
• Implements developmentally appropriate group activities to meet student needs and school goals.
• Performs other related duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
