Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years experience in the crane industry, especially with overhead crane and hoist systems.
• Deep understanding of mechanical/structural design principles.

Responsibilities

• Remotely design mechanical/structural systems for overhead cranes, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards.
• Prepare and maintain CAD drawings, design calculations, and specifications.
• Communicate effectively with Australian teams to integrate designs and resolve technical queries.
• Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and stress assessments.
• Ensure remote work meets safety codes and industry standards.
• Contribute ideas to improve product performance and engineering processes.
