Job summary

Optum is seeking an implementation-focused Project Manager in the Philippines to drive complex program work with US clients. The role requires 7–10 years of PM experience, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams while aligning with business objectives.

Candidates should be available for US business hours and hold an undergraduate degree; PMP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
• 7 to 10 years of project management experience.
• Experience managing projects and engaging directly with US clients or stakeholders in a client-facing capacity.
• Proven ability to manage client engagements of moderate complexity and scope.
• Must be available to work during U.S. business hours (full overlap).

• Develop/contribute to project budgets and forecasts, obtaining approvals from applicable stakeholders.
• Apply project life cycle methodology and tools as you develop, document and implement project communication plans.
• Drive collaboration in a cross-matrix environment leveraging your ability to build relationships and keep on track with the project scope and timeline.
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Consult with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of program/project scope and objectives with the organization's strategic objectives and the Voice of the Customer

• The most challenging part of this role? Effectively working with multiple project teams and stakeholders on project implementations. Our teams require flexibility utilizing various methodologies and tools. You'll need to drive collaboration in a cross-matrix environment leveraging your ability to build relationships and keep on track with the project scope and timeline.

Required Qualifications:
