Job summary

Biggs is seeking a dedicated Buyer in the Philippines to manage purchasing of materials, supplies, or equipment. You will negotiate with suppliers, research item options, and monitor inventory while reporting weekly PO activity to leadership.

The role requires a four-year degree and at least two years in a related field, with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills and familiarity with PO software. A valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year course.
• 2 years of experience in the related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills with team, clients, and suppliers.
• Negotiation skills to secure better deals for the company.
• Familiarity with purchase order software platforms.
• Good attention to detail to ensure orders are accurate.
• Driver's license preferred; own vehicle is a plus.
• Positive, happy disposition is valued.

Responsibilities

• Developing an effective and accurate system for monitoring purchase orders.
• Delivering a weekly purchase order report to supervisors/head that indicates the invoice number for all closed orders.
• Working within the management team to ensure deliveries satisfy orders and report back-ordered or missing products.
• Assisting the Purchasing Manager with maintaining inventory levels and materials regularly.
• Effectively communicating with the management team to ensure all orders are accurate.
