Job summary

Aboitiz InfraCapital, Inc. seeks an Internal Audit Specialist to support the execution of its risk-based internal audit function.

You will perform financial, operational, compliance, and governance audits across the Group's business units, subsidiaries, and affiliates, evaluating governance and risk management effectiveness. You will work with process owners to promote accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement, developing plans and practical recommendations to strengthen business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk Management, Compliance, or related assurance functions.
• Experience in auditing infrastructure, utilities, construction, manufacturing, or project-based industries is an advantage.
• Experience in SAP or data analytics tools is preferred.
• Preferably CPA and/or Certified Internal Auditor; other related certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining the annual risk-based Internal Audit Plan.
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls using the COSO Internal Control Framework.
• Perform audit engagements covering financial, operational, regulatory compliance, projects, procurement, information systems, and other activities.
• Prepare complete and well-supported audit working papers and audit reports with root causes and recommendations.
• Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and validate remediation effectiveness.
• Maintain organized, complete audit documentation and comply with policies and codes of conduct.
