Legal Management Group in the Philippines is seeking a Finance Planning & Compliance Officer to support the CFO in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and compliance activities.

The role is a key contributor to turning financial and operational data into meaningful management information, maintaining planning and reporting processes, and ensuring compliance requirements are tracked and completed.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting and financial planning: Support the CFO in the annual budgeting process and maintain budget templates, schedules, assumptions, and supporting models.
• Forecasting: Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and update forecast schedules.
• Management reporting: Prepare recurring monthly management reporting packages and variance analyses.
• Financial analysis and decision support: Perform financial analyses and support scenario analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and business-case evaluations.
• Finance compliance: Maintain a centralized finance compliance calendar and track statutory, regulatory, tax, and other compliance requirements.
• Finance policies, procedures, and governance: Maintain policies, procedures, and documentation, and support audits and governance improvements.
• Financial reporting coordination: Ensure timely, accurate financial data and standardized reporting templates across the organization.
• Process improvement and automation: Identify opportunities to automate reports, improve templates, and streamline workflows.
