Job summary

Hyundai Laguna Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting and Finance Manager to lead our finance team in Binan City, Laguna.

The role focuses on overseeing accounting operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and driving continuous improvements across the department. A CPA or equivalent qualification, 5–7 years of experience with at least 2 years in management, and strong ERP/IFRS/GAAP knowledge are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA preferred or equivalent.
• 5–7 years in accounting/finance with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP or IFRS standards.
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting information systems.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling abilities.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance, payroll administration and audits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including AP/AR, GL, and monthly close.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with standards.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Supervise accounting staff and mentor on technical matters.
• Coordinate external audits, tax filings and regulatory compliance.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks and cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare financial reports for management to support decision-making.
• Manage the general ledger, reconciliations and fixed asset register.
• Ensure timely payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Collaborate with other departments for budgeting and forecasting.
