Waltermart Subic is hiring a Store Cashier to join our Subic team. The ideal candidate has cashiering experience, good POS skills, and a commitment to friendly customer service while handling transactions accurately.

As a Store Cashier, you will operate registers, balance cash, issue receipts, and assist customers with exchanges and returns. You will maintain a clean checkout area and provide reliable, efficient service to every shopper.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or any 4-year course.
• Background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented and can work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar industry.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Willing to work in Waltermart Subic.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
