Job summary

mr-diy-philippines is seeking a diligent Retail Cashier to join our team in Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo. You will handle payments, operate the till, and ensure accurate pricing and receipts for every customer.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related four-year program, has cash handling and POS experience, and demonstrates strong customer service, trustworthiness, and attention to detail. Minimum one year in a similar role is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or any four-year course.
• Background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar industry.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Computer literate.
• Willing to work in Barotac Nuevo Iloilo.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds efficiently.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
