Job summary

MR.DIY Philippines is seeking a cashier with at least 1 year of experience to join our Lapu-Lapu Cebu store. You will handle payments, operate POS equipment, balance cash, and ensure accurate pricing and receipts for every customer.

The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, detail-oriented, and capable of working with minimal supervision while providing friendly, professional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or related field.
• Proficiency in cashiering and POS operations.
• Ability to deliver quality customer service.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar industry.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit terminals.
• Balance the cash register and generate reports for sales.
• Accept payments, ensure prices and quantities are accurate, provide receipts.
• Handle exchanges and refunds promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep checkout area clean and orderly.
