Job summary

Onsemi in Carmona, Cavite, Philippines seeks a Senior Test Engineer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in power semiconductor test and product engineering. You will design and implement test software and hardware for SiC/GaN devices, supporting FT and wafer sort development, and work toward robust test coverage to ensure quality.

The role requires strong technical skills in Visual C++, Python, and LabVIEW, plus excellent problem-solving and independent work abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Physics (advanced degree advantageous).
• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in power semiconductor test and/or product engineering.
• Background in high-power semiconductors and analog driver ICs test development preferred.
• Familiarity with Teradyne ETS88/800/364, AccoTest STS8200, PowerTech Qt4100 test platforms or equivalent multi-site systems is a big advantage.
• Wafer sort testing experience is an added advantage.
• Experience with LabVIEW programming is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Engineering and Manufacturing Test Engineering teams to support new product development and ramp to mass production.
• Design, develop, and implement test software and hardware for SiC and GaN products, for FT and wafer sort development.
• Establish comprehensive test coverage to eliminate test escapes and guarantee product quality.
• Perform product characterization, analyze data, and deliver clear, actionable reports.
• Drive innovation by exploring and implementing new test methodologies, hardware, and software solutions for SiC/GaN devices.

• Experience:
  • Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience in power semiconductor test and/or product engineering.
  • Background in high‑power semiconductors and analog driver ICs test development is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Teradyne ETS88/800/364, AccoTest STS8200, PowerTech Qt4100 test platforms or equivalent multi‑site systems is a big advantage.
  • Wafer sort testing experience is an added advantage

• Technical Skills:
