Job summary

Axos Bank is seeking an Internal Audit professional to analyze assigned processes, assess controls, and support compliance with SOX and COSO frameworks. The role focuses on identifying weaknesses and recommending improvements.

You will work with management to document controls, assist with testing, and contribute to risk assessment and monitoring within Axos Business Center. Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal controls testing and evaluation.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance and COSO framework.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to management.

Responsibilities

• Perform controls testing on key business processes and assist with SOX testing design and evidence gathering.
• Assist with COSO component documentation and testing and maintain supporting records.
• Collaborate with Management to identify continuous improvement opportunities in the Internal Audit Department.

About This Job

Performs analysis of assigned internal business areas and procedures to ensure compliance; makes recommendations to enhance operations and operational efficiencies.
