Ubiquity is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its growing accounting team in Laguna, Philippines. You will own balance sheet reconciliations, support the month-end close, and help enhance the accounting process with SOX controls.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s in accounting or finance, and proficiency with Netsuite. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus for progression within a global team.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure proper recording of activities.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and assist in month-end close.
• Improve accounting processes and systems to shorten close cycles.
• Develop procedures and oversee third-party bookkeepers for foreign subsidiaries.
• Support SOX internal control compliance.
• Assist with external audits and prepare necessary schedules and analyses.
• Lead ad hoc accounting projects as needed.
