Job summary

A tech solutions company is looking for a Project-Based Tester with experience in Tosca and automated testing. The role entails creating and maintaining test cases, executing automation tests, and monitoring test runs. Candidates should have strong communication skills and be willing to join immediately. This full onsite position is based in Taguig, Metro Manila.

• Create and maintain Tosca Modules and Test Cases.
• Execute automated tests (Tosca API Scan, SQL checks) and log defects.
• Update traceability in Jira and contribute to daily reports.

Non-Negotiable Skills

• Practical experience with Tosca Commander, TBox, XScan, TestCase Design, Execution Lists, and basic API Scan

• Working knowledge of REST, XML/JSON, SQL for validations

• Strong detail orientation, adherence to process, and willingness to learn fast

Qualifications

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to Supply Chain Management workflows and testing

• Experience testing Oracle applications

• Awareness of KPIs/SLAs (coverage, pass rate, flakiness)

• Familiarity with reporting tools

Certifications (Good to Have):

• Tricentis Certified Automation Specialist (TCAS) L1 and/or Automation Engineer L1

• ISTQB or CSTE Foundation level certification

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Tosca Modules (TBox/XScan), Test Cases, and TestCase Design templates & data

• Execute Web/Mobile/API/DB automated tests (Tosca API Scan, SQL checks) and log defects with clear evidence

• Prepare and run Execution Lists (local/DEX), monitor runs, and analyze failures

• Maintain test data (TDS/TDX) and perform environment pre-checks for stable test execution

• Update traceability in Jira and contribute to daily status reports and dashboards

• Follow established best practices and coding/asset standards and document assets

• Support SIT/UAT cycles including regression, smoke, and sanity testing
