GAMA Foods Corporation in Cagayan de Oro City invites a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage project cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and financial reporting for engineering projects. You will ensure accurate costing and budget control while monitoring expenditures and completion costs.

Based in Baloy, Tablon, this full-time role requires collaboration with Project Engineers, Procurement, and Contractors to validate quantities, costs, progress, and financial requirements, supporting successful

Qualifications

• Experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, or construction project costing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of cost estimation, quantity take-off, material costing, and unit cost derivation.
• Strong analytical, numerical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project cost management is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and unit cost derivations for engineering and construction projects.
• Review project plans, specifications, and scope of work to ensure accurate quantities and cost estimates.
• Monitor project costs, commitments, actual expenditures, and budget utilization.
• Prepare and maintain Cost Monitoring and Cost to Complete Reports for ongoing projects.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Procurement, Contractors, and other concerned teams to validate quantities, costs, project progress, and financial requirements.

Job Summary

The Senior Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing project cost estimation, quantity take-offs, cost monitoring, and financial reporting for construction and engineering projects. The role ensures accurate project costing, effective budget control, and timely monitoring of project expenditures and completion costs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering


• With relevant experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, or construction project costing


• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel


• Knowledgeable in cost estimation, quantity take-off, material costing, and unit cost derivation


• Strong analytical, numerical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
