Job Description- Senior AI/ML Developer JobDescription (BIU)

Experience Level 3+ Years

Job Overview We are seeking a highlyskilled and experienced Senior AI/ML Developer to lead the design, development,and deployment of cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learningsolutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of buildingscalable, production-grade AI systems, collaborating with cross-functionalteams, and providing technical guidance to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Development Architect, design,and implement complex AI/ML models and algorithms, including deeplearning, generative AI solutions (e.g., LLMs, RAG systems) and agentic AIorchestrations.
• End-to-End Lifecycle Management Own theentire ML lifecycle from data collection, preprocessing, and featureengineering to model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring inproduction environments.
• Infrastructure & MLOps Build andautomate robust, scalable ML pipelines (CI/CD) using MLOps tools (e.g.,MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker) and containerization technologies (Docker,Kubernetes). Working with AWS Lambda, ECS, Fargate will be plus.
• Collaboration Work closely with datascientists, product managers, and business stakeholders to translatecomplex business problems into effective AI solutions and integrate AIcapabilities into existing systems via APIs and microservices. Ensure thatdeployed solutions are used by business users as intended and drive RoI
• Optimization & Analysis Performstatistical analysis, fine-tune models for performance, reliability, andefficiency, and monitor deployed models for drift detection andrecalibration.
• R&D and Innovation Stay updated withthe latest advancements in AI/ML technologies, tools, and industry trends,and conduct R&D to apply cutting-edge techniques to production usecases.
• Technical Leadership Mentor juniordevelopers, provide technical guidance, participate in architecturaldecisions across multiple teams, and contribute to best practices andstandards for AI development within the organization.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience Minimum 3+ years of experiencein AI/ML model development, including hands-on experience buildingproduction-grade solutions and driving their usage with business teams.
• Education Bachelors or Masters degree inComputer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a relatedquantitative field.
• Programming Languages Deep proficiency inPython is essential.
• ML Frameworks & Libraries Expertisewith major AI/ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch,Keras, scikit-learn, Hugging Face Transformers).
• Cloud Platforms Hands-on experience withcloud platforms and their AI/ML services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Technical Concepts Strong understanding ofmachine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures (CNNs, RNNs),natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, data structures, andalgorithms.
• Data Handling Experience with large-scaledatasets, data preprocessing, feature engineering, and databases (SQL andNoSQL).
• Soft Skills Excellent analytical,problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities, as well as strongcommunication and collaboration skills to work effectively incross-functional teams.
• Preferred Experience with Generative AI andLLMs, vector databases, MLOps practices, and contributions to open-sourceprojects are a plus.
