Job summary
Dexcom Philippines is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with deep Google Cloud Platform expertise to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with software engineers and IT operations to ensure reliable deployment and operation of cloud-native applications.
Responsibilities include building IaC, managing GKE clusters, setting up observability, and driving security best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or site reliability engineering roles.
- Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git).
- Proficiency in Terraform, Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture best practices.

- Design and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Implement and manage GKE clusters, including autoscaling, monitoring, and security.
- Set up and manage Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Error Reporting for observability.
- Automate operational tasks using Python.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices using IAM, VPC Service Controls, and Cloud Armor.
- Collaborate with development teams to support microservices architecture and service mesh (CloudRun, CloudFunction).
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis for production issues.
- Mentor junior DevOps engineers and contribute to DevOps best practices and documentation.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, with a strong emphasis on automation, security, and performance. This role requires close collaboration with software engineers, architects, and IT operations to ensure seamless deployment and operation of cloud-native applications.

- Experience with Anthos, Cloud Run, or Cloud Functions.
- Knowledge of GitOps practices and tools like ArgoCD or Flux.
- Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
