Responsible for ad-hoc accounting, internal controls, and regulatory/compliance, and technical research and analyzing accruals and performing reconciliations. Responsible for leading projects, reviewing other work, and training peers and other staff members. Experienced in complex accounting and regulatory standards; including researching and providing alternative solutions.* Maintain records of organization’s financial activity in accordance with GAAP, organizational standards, and in compliance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.* Create reports on financial performance for internal and external use.* Complete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities related to foreign exchange, cash management and tax, including preparing the appropriate audit work papers for such activities.* Ensures accuracy, validity, and completeness of all documentation necessary to meet organizational, industry, and government regulatory requirements.* Participate in and lead cross functional meetings.* Prepare and present reports to management.* Research technical accounting issues and propose potential alternatives* Advanced knowledge of operational systems* Ability to create materials to be leverages for audit support, including presentation to be leveraged for auditors and executive management.**About Axos**Born digital-first, Axos delivers financial tools and services that allow individuals, small businesses, and companies to access and manage their money how, when, and where they want.
