Job summary

Anzhitay Construction Supply Corporation in the Philippines seeks a skilled Fiber Optic Technician to join our on-site field team in the Bicol Region. The role covers installation, splicing, testing, and commissioning of fiber networks in telecom projects.

Candidates should be able to read ODN plans and fiber diagrams, operate OTDR and power meters, work outdoors at heights, and travel to project sites as required. A strong team player with attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; vocational or some college accepted.
• Experience in fiber optic splicing and telecom projects preferred.
• Knowledge of fiber optic installation, fusion splicing, and termination.
• Familiar with OTDR, optical power meters and testing equipment.
• Able to read fiber optic diagrams, ODN plans, and cable routing.
• Willing to work on-site and travel to project locations.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors, at heights, or in manholes.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and a good team player.
• Willing to be assigned to backbone, feeder, and sub-feeder projects.
• Preferred: FTTH/ODN deployment and maintenance experience.

Qualifications:

• With experience in fiber optic splicing and telecommunications projects is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in fiber optic cable installation, preparation, fusion splicing, and termination.
• Familiar with fiber optic splicing machines, OTDR, optical power meters, and other testing equipment.
• Able to read fiber optic diagrams, ODN plans, and cable routing layouts.
• Knowledgeable in troubleshooting fiber optic network faults and conducting testing.
• Willing to work on-site and travel to project locations as required.
• Physically fit and willing to work outdoors, at heights, or in manholes when necessary.
• Must be responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work with a team.
• Willing to be assigned to fiber optic backbone, feeder, and sub-feeder projects.

Preferred: Candidates with experience in FTTH, ODN deployment, and fiber optic network maintenance.
