SCOPE OF ROLE

The role will be accountable/responsible for:

  • Check processes to ensure rules are followed, review key risk signs, and take early action to prevent issues before they happen.
  • Support reviews of client concerns and lead detailed investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions.
  • Detect suspicious activities, and ensure fast and proper response to security issues to minimize impact.
  • Create clear and detailed audit and compliance reports, highlighting findings, risks, and action plans for stakeholders.
  • Complete all assigned, mandatory training within the timeframe provided.
  • Conduct and/or participate in regularly scheduled 1:1 meetings with direct manager and/or direct reports.
Operational Impact

Resources will be diverted from other client portfolios to address urgent issues, eliminating capacity for proactive risk prevention and continuous improvement—core drivers of long-term value and client trust. Reduced coverage will directly impact response times across key KPIs, delaying action on fraud alerts, and increasing the likelihood of incidents escalating before containment. Limited bandwidth to execute audit action plans will increase the risk of audit findings, potential client escalations, and reputational impact—especially critical in high-risk or regulated accounts. The function will shift to incident-driven operations, reducing our ability to anticipate and mitigate risks early, ultimately increasing overall exposure and cost of remediation. Sustained workload pressure without backfill will impact team morale, productivity, and retention. High-performing resources will be forced into purely operational roles, limiting their ability to deliver strategic, value-added contributions.
