Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management seeks a Commissioning Engineer for our South Area construction projects. A BS in Electronics or Electrical Engineering is required, with 2+ years in installation, programming, commissioning, and testing of auxiliary systems. Licensing in ECE/EE is preferred.

The role involves developing plans, site inspections, tests, troubleshooting, and collaboration with vendors and clients to ensure standards and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Preferably Licensed ECE or EE
• At least 2+ years of work experience in installation, programming, commissioning, and testing of auxiliary systems
• Knowledgeable in FDAS, ACS, BMS, CCTV, and other auxiliary systems
• Knowledgeable in Windows, MS Office, AutoCAD, and other related software

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commissioning plans and procedures
• Conduct site inspections and assessments
• Perform system tests and evaluations
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the commissioning process
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients
• Ensure systems and equipment meet required specifications and standards
• Provide technical support to project teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Prepare and present commissioning reports
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers
• Monitor project progress and timelines
• Conduct training sessions for end-users
• Review and approve commissioning documentation
• Participate in project meetings and reviews
• Identify and mitigate potential risks
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during commissioning activities
• Provide feedback and recommendations for system improvements
• Support the development of commissioning best practices
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements
