Job summary
TrustWorks is seeking a customer-facing technical consultant to guide privacy‑aware SaaS deployments across international teams. You will own discovery, design, configuration, and API integrations, turning complex requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
In a fully remote role within Spain with occasional visits to Valencia, you’ll collaborate with Product and Engineering, support PoCs and RFXs, and help shape product feedback while delivering successful, ongoing customer outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of software solution implementation and design.
- Experience with APIs, iPaaS, ETL, and integrations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with incident management tools like JIRA or Linear.
- English fluency; Portuguese is a plus.
- Knowledge of data privacy and information security regulations.

It’s a hybrid role that combines technical discovery and solution design with hands-on customer implementations—platform configuration, integrations/APIs, troubleshooting, PoCs, and close collaboration with Product/Engineering when deeper investigation is needed.
- Work closely with customers and prospects to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into practical solutions using TrustWorks.
- Design solutions combining platform configuration, workflows, automation and integrations with third-party systems.
- Own the technical side of customer implementations, from discovery and solution design through configuration, testing, troubleshooting and go‑live.
- Assess integration requirements and work hands‑on with APIs, authentication methods, data structures and third‑party documentation to determine the best implementation approach.
- Identify when a requirement can be solved with existing capabilities, when an alternative approach is needed, and when Product or Engineering involvement is required.
- Support complex technical issues and integrations, working closely with Engineering to investigate root causes and drive resolution.
- Partner with Sales on technical discovery, demos, RFXs and PoCs, while working with Customer Success on the successful delivery and evolution of existing customer solutions.
- Act as a bridge between customers and Product/Engineering, turning customer requirements and recurring implementation challenges into actionable product feedback.

- Strong functional and technical understanding of software solution implementation (coding skills are a plus, but not required)
- Capability to design a solution that supports customer’s requirements considering existing platform features, context (potential integrations), and future evolutions.
- Knowledge of integration patterns. Experience with using APIs, iPaaS, and ETL tools to integrate data with third‑party systems.
- Great communication skills with both business and IT stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Incident Management tools (JIRA, Linear)
- Fluent in English, as it is the company’s primary language and Portuguese is a plus
- Familiarity with data privacy and information security regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO, NIS2, DORA) is a plus.
- 3-5 years in a customer‑facing technical role within B2B SaaS, such as Solutions Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Technical Consulting or Implementation.
- Running technical discovery sessions and translating business requirements into solution designs and implementation plans.
- Working hands‑on with REST APIs, JSON, authentication methods such as OAuth 2.0 and API keys, webhooks, and common integration patterns.
- Configuring and implementing SaaS platforms, workflows and automations to meet customer requirements.
- Assessing third‑party APIs and technical documentation to determine integration feasibility, requirements and limitations.
- Troubleshooting technical issues and integrations, interpreting API responses/logs, and collaborating with Engineering when deeper investigation is needed.
- Supporting the sales cycle through technical discovery, tailored/value‑based demos, solution design and technical validation.
- Designing and delivering PoCs and contributing to RFP/RFI responses.
- Leading customer workshops and communicating technical concepts, constraints and trade‑offs clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.
- Working cross‑functionally with Customer Success, Product and Engineering throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Experience with Privacy Management, Data Management, AI Governance or Information Security products would be a plus.
