Job description

We're supporting a specialist AI Infrastructure consultancy looking for an experienced AI Solutions Architect to help design and deliver enterprise AI and HPC platforms.

This role is aimed at someone with genuine infrastructure depth. We're not looking for a high-level solutions consultant. We need someone who understands what sits underneath the AI platform, from GPU compute and Kubernetes through to storage, networking, workload orchestration, and performance optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Design AI and HPC infrastructure for enterprise customers.
• Lead technical discovery sessions and architecture workshops.
• Produce high and low-level designs.
• Build and validate proof of concepts.
• Advise customers on AI platform strategy and deployment.
• Work closely with engineering teams through delivery and implementation.

Required Experience

• NVIDIA GPU environments (DGX, HGX, H100, A100 or similar).
• HPC or large-scale compute platforms.
• Kubernetes and containerised workloads.
• AI training and inference environments.
• Infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible or Python.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimisation experience.
• Proven customer-facing consulting or architecture experience.

Ideal Background

You will be equally comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders as you are discussing GPU utilisation, cluster design, storage performance, Kubernetes architecture, or workload scheduling with engineers.

Most importantly, you'll have hands-on experience building and operating AI infrastructure, not just designing it from a high level.
