Job summary

IQBackOffice is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to ensure software quality before launches. You will create testing estimates, participate in test plans, design test cases, set up test data, and execute manual and automated tests.

The role requires 2–3 years of QA experience, a solid understanding of business rules, and strong communication to interact with developers and stakeholders. This position is based in the Philippines and offers a full-time role.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
• Understands the business rules and application before the start of testing.
• Knowledgeable in analyzing business requirements.
• Knowledgeable in using automated testing tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact with developers at a technical level.

Responsibilities

• Creates testing estimates for accurate planning and realistic timelines.
• Participates in creating test plans, data procedures and manual and/or automated scripts.
• Develops an initial set of high-level test scenarios.
• Create and update detailed test cases based on new features and enhancements.
• Conducts test cases walkthroughs, if needed.
• Sets up test data.
• Executes manual and/or automated test scripts for multiple and complex projects.
• Responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly.
• Monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.
• Conducts bug reporting and bug fix verification.
• Participates in Sprint planning.
