Job summary

Infor Manila is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to participate in product development deliveries and support activities. The role involves code development, testing and deployment, with the Development department guiding your work in Manila.

You will fix bugs, develop based on requirements, and perform maintenance and enhancements to existing modules while following SDLC and coding standards. Strong communication skills and onsite presence 3x per week are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or similar in software engineering, information technology, or computer science.
• 1 year relevant professional experience in Java programming language.
• Understanding of OOP concepts.
• Experience in mobile or web applications programming.
• Comfortable using an Integrated Development Environment (e.g., Visual Studio, Eclipse).
• Ability to develop and interpret technical plans/designs.

An Associate Software engineer will participate in product development deliveries as well as support activities. This position is tasked but not limited to - code development, testing and deployment.

Location: Manila

A Typical Day In The Life Includes

• Fixes any reported bugs while complying with the SDLC processes and coding standards.


• Creates/codes based on requirements/design and tickets


• Performs maintenance and enhancement of existing product modules.


• Conducts technical analysis, root cause analysis and other standard processes in the SDLC.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or similar in software engineering, information technology, or computer science


• 1 year relevant professional experience in Java programming language


• Understanding of OOP concepts


• Experience in mobile or web applications programming


• Comfortable in using Integrated Development Environment (i.e. Visual Studio, Eclipse, etc.)


• Ability to develop and interpret technical plans/designs

Good written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills and self-reliant attitude


• Amenable to work 3x a week onsite in BGC

Preferred Qualifications

• With experience in mobile development


• Experience or familiarity in AWS is a plus


• Experience in ERP Systems is a plus


• Some RDBMS experience is a plus
